Compilation of three poetry books by Delia Weber (1900-1982), educator, poet, painter and a very important figure in the feminist movement in the Dominican Republic. She published Encuentro (poetry, 1939), Aguas vivas (poetry 1939), Los viajeros:poema dramático (poetry, 1944), Los bellos designios (poetry, 1949), Espiga al sol (poetry, 1959), Estancia (poetry, 1972). Dora y otros cuentos (1952) is her only book of fiction which combines "influences of Tagore with the gothic 19th century English novel, this book constitutes an early contribution to Dominican contemporary fiction".
